BERSAMA KPM DAN JPN NEGERI - MIRI SARAWAK 2010

The Old Grand Laldy was the first oil field discovered in 1917. It was safe from the ravaging 2 nd. world war. Is is situated on the hill nearby Miri City called Canada Hill.

Action! I was trying a tradisional sumpit ususally used by the natives of Sarawak especially the Ibans, Bidayuh, Muruts and Kenyah for hunting purposes. It was a great experience and through full blast of our mouth, the dart can reach as far as 100 ft.

A Diorama how workers in oilfield worked with full energy in the early 19th. Century. Seen in the picture are Mr. Mohamad Hamka with short sleeve shirt and Mr. Anuar from IRB KL.

Posing in the picture, From Left Mr Mohamad Yong b. Salleh From BPSK KPM and Mr. Mohamad Hamka with Miri City in the background. Picture taken from ontop of Canada Hill.

Just for remembrance, Mr. Mohamad Hamka, Mrs Mazzleza Bt. Abd Wahab BPSH KPM, and Mr. AK Akim JPN Sabah. Seen at the back ground is the Asean Bridge that link Sarawak and Brunei Darusalam.
